From what I've heard, Hastings and Miss Lemon appear in the opening scenes, and then in the final scenes (possibly with some scenes in between). Japp has become the central character of the three, he assists Poirot throughout.
I'm aware of that. These screencaps aren't from the video you uploaded to YouTube. A fan from Poland called "ueetba" e-mailed them to me after the Polish broadcast. I've added them to the blog for those who want a glimpse of the episode but don't want to watch it until it airs in the UK.
so whats the day? Week 43: 19 and 20th are not, according to radiotimes (sunday is Downton Abbey anyway). Tuesday is Champions League on itv, maybe they will put it against CL on SkySports on Wed´day. Hope for Friday 25th.
Correction: It seems ITV have now confirmed Thursday 24 October 8pm as the air date: http://www.itv.com/presscentre/ep1week43/agatha-christies-poirot-big-four#.UlVMwxCyMTJ
If you look at the full-scale version of the screen cap, it looks like the photo of a man (very possibly the dead man in the morgue, if you've seen the post I did on the Polish trailer). But I can't be certain, as I haven't watched the episode yet :)
I'm sorry, I misread your comment. No, she's not Miss Lemon. I don't know who she is, though, since I haven't seen the episode, but I think she is a witness to one of the murders :)
I believe it's Patricia Hodge, who plays Madame Olivier. There aren't many women in this episode as per the cast list, and from the formal-looking clothing, the character looks important. I could be wrong, but that's my best guess.
Hi again! Apparently it's the undercroft of Lincoln's Inn Chapel (same area, slightly different location). Here's a link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadow-in-the-water/9450577599/.
Do we know how much the old trio appear? Is it a decent amount?
ReplyDeleteAlso great news regarding the week when it airs in the UK :D

DeleteYes, isn't it just? :)
Sorry, but I am NOT from Poland, I just downloaded it from a Polish site.

ReplyDeleteHi Thomas! The last I heard was Wednesday (23 October). We should know more in about a week, when the press starts writing about it.

DeleteIt is indeed Madame Olivier :)
ReplyDeleteEvgre
Indeed it was! Tom has this amazing ability to guess correctly when it comes to small hints from Poirot adaptations ;)
DeleteHello, does anyone know where those arches are where Poirot met the reporter in the Big Four episode?
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm fairly certain it's in the Inner Temple (Inns of Court, London).
DeleteThanks so much!
